How is this meal plan different than any other meal plan?

Frozen Fitness is a combination of some of the major well known frozen food meal plans, but our meal plans are specially formulated for physically active individuals. We offer everything from low glycemic complex carbs, low saturated fats, no added preservatives or additives, high protein and low sodium. Our meal plans are also designed to fit into specific nutrient ratio ranges of approximately 50% low glycemic carbohydrates, 30-35% lean protein and 15-20% essential fats. Your body requires all of these nutrients and completely cutting out carbs or fats like some of the recent fad diets just isn't healthy for physically active people. This diet is for people who exercise regularly and need to fuel and rebuild their muscles but don't want to sacrifice the taste and quality of their food. Our mission is to teach people how to combine a healthy diet, exercise routine and supplements to reach their ultimate fitness goals.

How do I know that this program is right for me?

This meal plan will work for anyone that is dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle. As with any other nutrition plan, you must consult a physician or one of our highly educated fitness professionals or sales associates before starting if you have any known allergies or illnesses.  We always recommend that you eat every 2.5 to 3 hours to keep your metabolism burning calories like a wildfire.  Nutrition is a key factor in whether or not you will reach your desired fitness goals but exercise and rest are also crucial to your success. 

I want to build or maintain muscle mass, can this help?

YES!! Make sure you choose the meal plan that is right for you. We offer 10oz. Heat 'N Eat meals that contain 380 or less proportioned calories and we offer 15oz. meals that contain about 500 proportioned calories called Minute Mass meals. Both of these meal plans will help you maintain lean muscle mass while you burn fat. If you are an athlete looking to really bulk up you would order the Minute Mass meals. If you are physically active and would like to lose weight while maintaining lean muscle mass you would order the Heat 'N Eat meals. Our sales associates and fitness professionals are here to help you pick the meal plan for you.

How many meals should I be eating a day?

We recommend splitting your daily calorie intake between 6-7 meals for a male and 5-6 meals for a female. Supplementing with protein shakes or meal replacement shakes count as meals here. This will keep your metabolism burning like a wild fire and you'll be sure to burn off the calories you are consuming.

I've heard about other meal plans that are healthy for you but dont offer complete meals or they taste horrible. How are you any different?

We know, we've tried some of those other meal plans ourselves. We didn't see the point of buying a prepared meal if we had to go out and buy vegetables or other components to make our meal.  That isn't convenient.  We've hired some very successful chefs to help us put together our recipes and had them tweaked by nutritionists, trainers, food chemists and athletes themselves to make sure they kept the nutritional value and the great taste. We use a special manufacturing process in which we make sure meals are flash frozen within minutes after being cooked. This ensures the flavors will stay IN the meal where it belongs.

This sounds great, how much is it going to cost me?

Frozen Fitness was created by fitness experts who understand what its like to try to eat right but still live within your means. We keep our meals affordable but reach your required calorie counts and nutrient ratios. we will never skimp on quality. We offer meal plans that start at $11.90 a day and go up to $20.25 a day, depending on how many meals you plan to prepare yourself. We always recommend combining your meal plan with supplements to reach your daily caloric intake and macronutrient ratios. 

How do I know I'm going to be happy with my meal plan?

We recommend that you try everything on the menu the first time you order by ordering a Standard Plan.  This will give you a chance to try everything.  If there is something you dont like you never have to order it again and you can customize your meal plan to your liking.

These meals are great, but they're bigger than what I usually eat. Is that OK?

It's strange how that works out. But, the truth is that although these meals are bigger in size and you are actually eating more food that you were before (in most cases), you are eating clean calories that your body needs for fuel. Finally, a diet that actually allows you to EAT until you are satisfied instead of leaving you hungry and prone to cheat.

How do I get my food shipped to me?

Your food will come to you on a specific day throughout the week, and will come the same day every week to ensure that there are no interruptions in your eating schedule. We pack your order in an insulated cooler with dry ice to ensure that the product stays cold. It leaves our distribution center late in the day on the day and it will arrive to your door in 3 days or less depending on where you live.  The meals should be thrown into the freezer immediately until you're ready to eat them.  The dry ice comes in a plastic pouch, but IF THERE IS DRY ICE LEFT IN THE COOLER DON'T TOUCH IT!

I have a million questions about what I should be doing to reach my fitness goals, where do I start?

Awesome, that's what we're here for. We'll mention again that everyone affiliated with Frozen Fitness from the R&D team to the sales associates are all fitness professionals of some type. We all have different areas of expertise and whatever your situation we will find the right expert to help you. Our website and the forum page are a hub of valuable information to help you educate yourself. The message boards in the forum are there for you to post any questions you may have…no question is a stupid question so feel free to ask. You have to start somewhere and you've come to the right place. If you are totally new to this we recommend hiring a personal trainer to help you get started off right.
